On this full day edible tour through the Atherton Tablelands you'll enjoy a selection of food, wine and spirits from the regions award winning farms, distillery, brewery, boutique tea house, choclatiers and Swiss cheese makers!

  • The multi-award winning Lake Barrine Tea House, a charming 90-year-old tea house that takes in the serene lake views. We enjoy a light breakfast with your choice of eggs benedict (3 choices) or fresh bruschetta on ciabatta bread, served with locally grown tea or coffee.

  • Gallo Dairy Farm - is a fully functioning dairy farm with an Animal Nursery.  Home to the Award-winning Cheese & Chocolate Factory - watch the cheese makers and choclatiers at work behind a glass screen ing as they create award winning cheeses and hand-crafted chocolate being made from the finest Swiss Couture, before sitting down to enjoy a selection of their cheeses and a glass of wine or beer (wine / beer is an optional extra cost)

  • Shaylee strawberry farm, enjoy a delicious lunch and a Strawberry ice cream whilst overlooking the picturesque scenery of fields of strawberries, we enjoy a strawberry ice cream of for desert.

  • Optional Extra * 'Pick your own strawberries' experience is an option between July to November Only)

  • At Billy cart Brewing Co. a locally owned and independent brewery, the taproom caters for the adventurous craft beer drinker, wines, ciders, as well as those who just love a cold beer at the end of the day. We enjoy a taste test of some of their favorites !

  • Mount Uncle Distillery - an award-winning boutique distillery, where you can quench your thirst with a tasting of handcrafted liquors and spirits at the cellar door and also enjoy a walk through the beautiful gardens of on the property, home to an eclectic mix of animals.

This tasting discovery journey through the rolling hills of the Atherton Tablelands will guide you through the Tablelands farms best kept foodie secrets, we make our way through the beautiful rolling hills, farm gates and cellar doors that define the Tablelands region. The day is filled with a handpicked selection of the region’s best fruit farms, working dairy farms, distilleries, craft beer factory & boutique tea house, along with a visit to an award winning Cheese maker and Chocolatier.


The multi-award winning Lake Barrine Tea House - a charming 90-year-old tea house is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious homemade breakfast while taking in the serene lake views. Your choice of eggs benedict (bacon, mushroom or salmon) or fresh bruschetta on ciabatta bread, served with locally grown tea or coffee. (*our weekend tour guests can opt to enjoy a 30 min boat cruise on the lake).

Billy Cart Brewing Company - Billy cart Brewing Co. is a locally owned and independent brewery in Atherton, North Queensland, Australia. Our taproom caters for the adventurous craft beer drinker as well as those who just love a cold beer at the end of the day.

Shaylee Strawberries - the only strawberry farm in the Atherton Tablelands, Shaylee Strawberries offers the perfect stop for picturesque scenery across the strawberry fields. We enjoy a delicious Ice cream!

*Optional extra -  Pick your own strawberries (Pick your own strawberries July - November)

Days of Operation

This tour operates 4 days per week Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with transfers from Cairns, Palm Cove or Trinity Beach.

This tour does not operate on public holidays.  

Whats Included

  • A scenic drive through the rolling hills of the Atherton Tablelands – some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.

Please Note:

 

 Strawberry picking is an additional cost & is only available July - November.

  • pay only for what you pick $19 per kilo 

  • Pick your own will be suspended during wet conditions for public safety.

  • We ask that all people attending pick your own strawberries adhere to the following rules:-

PLEASE

  1. Stay within the taped area

  2. Closed in footwear (footwear must be worn into the paddock) 

  3. No eating in the paddock

  4. Only pick solid red berries

  5. Do not pick the strawberry flowers or unripe/green fruit

  6. Children must be supervised

  7. One container per person

  8. Return your fruit to the counter for weighing

  9. Pay for what you pick

  10. Wash your fruit before eatinG

  11. Enjoy your time on the farm

3. This tour consists of  breakfast, lunch, 'cheese, beer and gin tastings' throughout the day.

4. Vegetarian lunch, Gluten / Lactose free cheese available on request.

5. Please bring cash (change and notes) for additional purchases of fresh fruit and veg from the road side stalls, as well as any souvenirs, chocolates, wine or coffee.  

6. As the seasons change we may change the itinerary, add in extra stops or swap stops to suit the seasonal fruit, veges and weather conditions, these changes may be conducted at the last minute without notice.


 

Fitness Requirements  

This experience calls for a low level of fitness.

  • Rates are GST inclusive and in Australian Dollars 

 

Cancellation Policy

This tour requires a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or re-schedule.
